FIVE LUCK Fu Mold - SHAPE INFORMATION

The Fu was my 2nd mold design, with dates from late 2015 on my hand drawings. Another one that was sketched out and then carved in Bondo for testing. In 2016 I had the confidence to have the mold machined into hard aluminum.

Still in the vein of a traditional fingerboard mold and modern skateboard shape, the kick angles, concave and wheelbase all contribute to its excellent performance.

A deck from the Fu mold can be made in sizes ranging from 26mm up to 36mm. Thinner decks become a little more flat in the concave. Lengths average between 96 and 97mm on the Fu mold.

Occasionally I will create special shapes from the Fu such as the FU2 (boxy fu mold) or the Shred Spade which is a very unique, directional cruiser type board. Info on these shapes are available upon request.
